But I think it is at least not polite to ask an artist to remove things from his canvas just to fit something. It is okay to say "no we wont post something because of that or this rule". But you are explaining that it is an easy thing to do to remove colors that you consider unneccesary, which is insanely unethical.

You want something that is not yours to be changed and pushing an artist to edit his artwork to fit your vision, your standard, your understanding of "tradition". I feel this is a wrong thing to do.

Korban, it all comes from sketch and idea and some experiments in process. From one to another iteration color and contrast balance can be changed, thats fine. Also I go through some color correction on final steps.
