3D Pixel...Beads?

News Details

Check out these interesting creations by artist David Chatt. They're three dimensional sculptures of everyday objects and figures made entirely from tiny glass beads, interestingly enought they sort of resemble pixel art (if you squint and cover your eyes). My personal favourite is number 9 of 12.

Thanks goes to my girlfriend Justine for spotting these.

Nice pieces. My guess is you have to stand really far away to make any of that look like pixelart. I've seen something similar made with beans and other legumes.

I can't help it if I have a thing for hairy asses made out of hundreds of glass beads!

Of course 9 of 12 is your favorite... sicko.

My fave is 2 of 12.  I'm guessing it's a strawberry french toast wallet with a butter zipper?   Great stuff.
