Ping Pong Pixel

News Details

We developed a new kind of output device for your computer, consisting out of 8100 tabletennis balls in 6 greytones.

It's 2 by 3 meters and comes with a pretty slow refresh rate, only 2-3 hours!

What more do you want?

And it sure would be great to wait 2-3 hours every time you load a new page, Monkey 'o Doom

I want one of those. It would look great on my text-based browser (it runs in DOS).

Great stuff, but who needs 6 colors anyway?

That brings an interesting new restriction to mind.

You have 171 white, black, light grey, and dark dark grey pixels, and 170 grey and dark grey pixels. You have a 32 by 32 canvas. Make something awesome, GO.

Hahaha, that'd be hard. Very hard. And tedious counting of pixels of certain colours. But I'd like to see someone try, I would. And my math must be off, because I somehow managed to calculate 1024 pixels inside a single 32 by 32 space. That's craaaaa-zee.

I go bed now midnight ramble.
