Pixelation down, among other things.

As some of you might have noticed, Pixelation and quite a few other sites are down atm. This is because there was an electrical gear shorted, causing an explosion and fire in the datacenter where the servers are. About 6000 servers are down because of this, Pix being on one of them. Noone was injured there, so that's good to know. And furthermore no servers seem to have been damaged. Everything should be back to normal sooner or later, but it probably still take a while until everything is back online.

Actually there still seem to be problems. They are only on temporary power supply and go to permanent over the weekend. So until then uptime can not be guaranteed.

Pix seems to be back online :)

Larwick (Level 8 Regional Boss) @ 6/2/2008 13:46
Well, best of luck to them then. :)

Well, getting it back up is nothing I have an effect on. The server dudes at The Planet (where the accident happened) are working on it.

Larwick (Level 8 Regional Boss) @ 6/2/2008 13:28
Woah. Thanks for letting us know ptoing. Best of luck getting Pixelation back up soon.
