Palette sorter (V0.9)

This awesome little tool created by DreamRunner lets you see how many colours your peice has and sorts them into a nice little PNG file.

http://2ddr.com/index.php?prime=sortpal Clicking on this link will take you to a page where you enter the URL for your image and then simply click sort and then just wait for the sorting to be sorted. Currently, it seems as though it only works correctly for .gif images.

My ColorCounter counts and can sort colors (by number of pixels of each color) on GIFs and PNGs, but you have to download the program, and it doesn't save the palette--just shows it to you, although you could screenshot it if necessary. :)

But yeah, this does have the cool effect of sorting specific hues into separate lines.

Oh, is that what it was for? I thought it was intended for palette extraction, based on the post on Pixelation; which struck me as marginal (anybody skilled is going to be able to put together a good ramp quicker than extracting)
That use is much more interesting, I want to implement this for GIMP now.
