Well, it's New Year (or thereabouts) - the perfect time for colourful pyrotechnics. So, this week, create a scene that depicts fireworks exploding.

You can submit your work to the weekly challenge when you are submitting a pixel art. Make sure it follows the rules of the challenge and the rules of the site. So, you can submit a pixel art piece by scrolling over your name (when you are logged in- in the top right corner) and clicking "Submit Pixel Art" or by scrolling over the Gallery tab and clicking "Submit Pixel Art". You'll be able to select your files (a preview image and a full sizes image, or just a preview image if your piece is under 100x100), and also select if you want to enter your piece into the weekly challenge or not.
