Pixel Art Challenge: So Far Away

Depict a long-distance relationship between two characters, both of whom are non-humanoids.

Canvas Size - Unrestricted.
Colours - Max 14.
Transparency - Optional.
Animation - Optional.

Pretty much what it sounds like. Think of a two lovers separated by an ocean, or a Martian and an Earthling. A relationship in which there is signficant distance between the two parties.
