Animated Loop's latest weekly challenge (ending 23 March) is all about pixel art.
If you would like to participate, visit their Twitter page.
Rules:
- tag your tweets with @animatedloop and #pixelart;
- GIF entries must be animated and loop seamlessly;
- submissions must be original content.
Reminder: Twitter messes big time with image content, especially pixel art: animated gifs are converted to click-to-run video; the first frame suffers a delay glitch; small images / anims are horribly upscaled and filtered; vertical images are displayed cropped to ~square in the timeline (need opening to see whole).
Tips: make your image 506 or 560 px wide (sources differ), horizontal or square. For instance, a 50x100 px vertical anim might be upscaled x3 to 150x300px then canvas-enlarged to 560x500px.
Repeat the loop a few times to minimize the first frame glitch. Make sure your first frame is meaningful as default still.
