Here's mine. I'm sort of thinking of the old racing games where sometimes you had the dashboard panel with the steering wheel and gauges that never moved.

huhuhu decided to at least try a game mock up for the first time, as you can see I don't cope well with using only a few colours c:
![]() My biggest weaknesses at the shading of the palm fronds (just can't figure out how or what colour will make it work!) and adding a character (I don't really like doing humans and animals much, and I've never done it with highly restricted colours before so I don't know what I'll do there). Wouldn't mind adding some animation, or maybe changing the frame area up a bit, perhaps floating coins but that seems pretty cliche XD And maybe rocks for jumping over? Apologies for making totally awful use of the colours provided OTL |

After seeing some of the stuff in this thread I really want to take part. I've also lost a significant chunk of my afternoon to my mockup. I'm going for a street fighter like fighter stage.

I'd recommend making the foreground brighter, not darker, than the background behind the ruin, aside for some shadows. Now it looks like shrubbery directly in front of the viewer, with the ruin and bg all on one surface some ways back.

@ Yielmo, I think the circular crater might look better if it's flattened a little. Also, assuming you're gonna add some critters, the trick will be to make them stand out. This may mean reducing the color count on the ground. I like what you've done so far, though.
