You must create your own Omnivore eye. No edits.

Canvas Size - Max 128 x 128. Preview image must be exactly 64 x 64.
Colors - Max 32. You must only use colours from the Omnivore palette for the eye. See below.

Transparency - Optional.
Animation - Optional.

Update: black has now been added to the challenge palette.

I'm pretty sure they mean that the entire picture may have 32 colours - including those from the pallette - and also green and blue or whatever colours you choose.
But for the eye, you may NOT use 32 colors, only those 10 from the posted pallette. So the eye-part of the picture has more restrictions than the rest.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Very early WIP. Just the basic idea of the thing.

Does the eye HAVE to be part of the face or can it be placed anywhere as long as it is in the piece?

Someday, when i finnaly win this challenge( hope to do so at least this year...) I will make a challenge of 'the worst foe lies within the self'
I love this phrase, and im gonna do my best to win next challenges. but this one is coming quite bad...

Got an early WIP, re-read the challenge and realised it was a 'self-portrait'........
Was even going to animate.
P.S- does the little icon in the bottom right look like a skooba diver? Trying to come up with a small signature.
edit:*scuba

Your link was wrong, here's a fix:

I like the design in general but would lessen the black outline around the eye and make the pupil rounder.  Nice beginning...

Also, please save as a GIF or PNG... the artifacts caused by JPG are headache inducing.  FYI.

this is one challenge i'll be damned to miss lol sorry for being vulgur but i so want a chance to participate.

i got started drawing the pic but yet to scan and edit. the omnivore eye is in the center of a woman's stomach (as yes i know the max. canvas size is 128 x 128). i'll have it post later tonight, but want to know if it's acceptable (for some reason, hindu art keep flashing in my mind).

I don't see why it wouldn't be okay other than that he image has to be a self portrait to fit the challenge curriculum.  If you can fit an eye in a woman's stomach and keep it as a self portrait I'll be impressed.

Looking good dudes!
I'm still uncertain if I should participate - I wouldn't want to win at my own challenge. D: on the other hand, I'd love to do a selfportrait....

hmmmmm... I'll most likely do one, but won't participate in the challenge.

Nah, its not (over) self confidence - I don't want to get any prize ribbon - A green one would be fine, but I don't want to risk taking away the trophies from those that never got one, or want to get more winning ribbons.

Sketched last night, still have to do a lot of touch ups on the pixel level once I commit to a pose, and decide on colors.

Going to be my first PJ challenge submission!  I've been lurking this site too long, thought I'd finally give it a try.

I quite like the choice of colors, can't wait to see what else you come up with.
