So I'm maloART.

I'm not drawing frequently but more as a hobby. I'm a real fan of any oldschool stuffs and especially games oriented stuffs (couldn't list all the games I played when I was young). It all started with an Apple ][c when I was about 8 (this would mean that I am terribly old comparing to most of you folks) ... I discovered how to draw things (and had a real crush into palette choices, dithering techniques, etc.) when I first installed Deluxe Paint II enhanced in my old PC (I still have the original 5¼ floppy disks somewhere).

Well, I also like french comics (bandes dessinées) but I am totally unable to draw comic/manga styled stuff. I play guitar (ref. BtGAvatar shows my favorite instrument) and particularly love Jeff Buckley.

I like this forum and community and spends a lot of time reading crits and comments ... it's a huge source of improvements and inspiration. There are many talented pixel artists here.

For example, between the right hand of the guy and his t-shirt, there is zone coloured in light pink that I don't understand. The hill top borders in dark green is missing. The lighter line on the right montains looks weird. The main character is flat, the shading technic is unproper ... But I like it anyway, I appreciate the colors you choose and the general aspect of the scene.
