Whenever you are working on your Secret Santa gift or not, this is a nice little relaxing challenge to make right now.
Draw and animate a tiny sprite of a character that brings presents during the winter holiday time. Now what that character will be is entirely your choice. In Poland, where I live, this situation is quite confusing. It is traditionally a Catholic country, where presents are given by a Catholic bishop, St. Nicholas, on 6th December (usually golden robes, but also purple or red). But Poland also was a part of the Eastern Bloc, so we also had Dziadek Mróz (usually with blue robes or red), giving presents on New Year's Eve. We also had our pagan traditions long before Christianity took over, so we had Gwiazdor (sometimes a tan furry costume), and of course eventually the American Santa (red and white robes) became most popular, like everywhere else, giving presents on Christmas Eve. But in some regions, presents are given by an angel, or gnomes, or baby Jesus. I'm aware that in Spain presents are brought by 3 kings on 6th January. I would love to see and read about any other variations. You can draw any of those, but you are also allowed to draw an anti-Santa like the Grinch (or the Devil in some regions). Let's make the most diverse "Santa" pixel art catalogue on this side of the internet.
You have to use the Merry Mountain palette by Maber.
