This is a website that makes webcomics out of Haikus representing each line of the Haiku with a 32X32 pixel image and using only the basic NES color palette of 52 colors! Philosophical, gross, sweet, offensive, sexual, stupid... a lo-ku can be anything! |

Posted by bunlee at 3/16/2006 3:09:11 AM | 0 comments If you don't count with company and community websites. This is probably the largest pixel website I've seen. (correct me if I am wrong!)First of all, this site is all in Chinese. But I like to explain a bit about it and make sure everyone knows how to navigate to the BIG pixel maps! Basically this is a website that show you all the shops and foods in ALL the night markets in Taiwan. And they are using a hugh pixel image as a sitemap to navigate to all the shops. (so... it might be slow!) Here is how to browse to those maps:When you get to index page. Scroll down to the bottom and you'll see a window with 3 columes of links on the left side. Click on any one of them in the middle columes and you can see the maps... here is an example. This URL absolutely should be here at pixeljoint! The style is very easy to recognize if you know enough pixel artists around the world, especially they are from TW! Of course you can also use a language translate website to do so! |

Posted by horcy at 1/6/2008 2:16:43 AM | 0 comments Our career started in 2001 with the Our old website will remain as it is for the whole eternity, like a proud piece of art in our museum. Currently our team is composed by Giovani Faganello and Michelle Lang, graduated in Industrial Design, Visual Communication by the Federal University of Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. We are the founders and creators of the Pixeltemple. We are among the first people in Brazil to work with pixel art, initially developing icons for software interface and later entering the field of illustration and website development. We are very proud to work based on friendship and trust. All of our customers became kind friends at the end of their projects. Our inspirations will ever be the good music and the “oldskool” video games. We love jazz, groove and rock’n roll - to name a few: Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Isaac Hayes, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd and The Beatles. Japanese video game collection also is our passion. |
