While many of us can create something that looks good in Photoshop or attractive when spliced into CSS, but do we actually understand the design theory behind what we create? Theory is the missing link for many un-trained but otherwise talented designers. Here are 50 excellent graphic design theory lessons to help you understand the 'Whys', not just the 'Hows'.

This full featured graphic editor is written only on HTML and JavaScript. You don't need Flash-plugins, VML or SVG on the browser anymore. There is no need to download and install traditional offline software.
You can draw pixels having only a plain browser without any plugins! Furthermore, you can publish your picture to the Web with several mouse clicks, or save to your HD to work at another time.

This is a very good site. If you have problems saving your artwork as GIF Ex. It messes up the colors when you save it. Just save it as a PNG and convert it through this site.

Ren'Py is an engine that supports the creation of visual novels and dating sims, forms of computer-mediated storytelling. It supports a movie script-like syntax that makes creating simple games easy, while still being customizable and extensible by advanced creators. With no additional work by the game-maker, it supports features expected of all visual novels, like loading, saving, preferences, and rollback. Ren'Py is supported on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux x86, and can be made to run on other platforms.
