Yeah, I know. I uploaded it specifically for a client to see and usually they don't spend much time in figuring out the different sites.
I could loose the white bg though, I didn't realize about it.

Really? Yes, that would be strange. It's made for RPG Maker, so 256 was the max amount of colors (and I don't know if I used that many).
I re-saved the image from a JPG, as it was what all I had from that project, so that's probably it.

I'm afraid I have to agree with everybody else. The characters are not appealing, and lack of volume and perspective.
The rest of the tileset and items is really pretty and coherent. I like specially the style of the water explosions. Perhaps the only thing it's a bit off is that water potion, it looks like a mana potion from Diablo II.

Forget about something "real". What's more real?  The figurative or the abstract? are feelings less real than what you can touch, or distinguish as a foreground and background?

But you should keep working on your composition, it's not really interesting. It has a lot of empty space that doesn't seem to be there for a reason.

Also, perhaps you should explore more the aesthetic posibilities (or restrictions) that the pixel art gives.

Actually, horror vacui means "afraid of empty", so you aren't avoiding it.

I think the leaves near to the head are excesive, the face itself it's very detailed and could use some empty space around. I like the other leaves and I think they do complete the shape and the composition. If the empty space around the face it's too much, I would close it a little bit with the ... strips? of the sign.

I'm just saying, it looks pretty cool anyway :)

RoboBOT: I thought about the hands too, but as you can see every image has a different design of the coyote, so I ended up combining them, and I used just one of the many hands.

I'll check the video and see if I change it after the challenge.
