I like the characters a lot, you portrayed them perfectly.(Well, close enough!) The sword looks a bit thick, but it might be that I'm confusing it with a different sword from the game.

Your 'battle sprite' or whatever you prefer to call it seems, to me, like a great fusion of Tales of the World, and Summon Night: Swordcraft Story's 'battle sprites'. Well done. Although, I'm not so crazy about the overworld sprite, the arms and legs looks a tad out of proportion and out of place. But, maybe it's just me.
