Too simple.. and no shading? Also u might want to try adding an eraser at the bottom of the pencil. Also try changing the colour of the pencil near the led/graphite.

A "normal" shark means a shark in general. And in general, most people think of the Great White Shark like you said in your comment.

Still, I think you should rename the title to Thresher Shark so people like me doesn't get confused.

I love it.   You could add.

1. Shading

2. Use references like Tree anatomy's and Apple anatomy's to make it look realistic.

3. Add clouds or something as a background to make it look more interesting.

Ahh. Didn't know because your title just says Shark, and your description said "I love sharks, so I've drawn a shark." You didn't describe what shark it is, so i was thinking of a normal shark.

Might want to change your title to Thresher Shark or add a description about it being a Thresher Shark.

Yes, It is his second paw underneath the first. The one under is the left paw and the one on top is the right paw.

To improve this piece, add some shading.

I'd give this a 2/5. Add some shading and fix the roof.

user
zero57 @ 6/21/2010 17:01 commented on Lets see If this works

Ideas for what you could do.

1. Add a background. (Possibly some cobwebs on the edges of the picture?)

2. Add an extra leg to the left side.

Do not submit if it only took you 1 second to make. Only post if you took a long time to make a piece and if you think your piece is ready. This, is not ready, 4 pixels big deal *sarcasm*. If you haven't read the Submit Pixel Art Rules, then i think you should read it now.

"All pixel art is approved by a Pixel Joint admin to keep the gallery free from hardcore porn, spamming, hate speach and crappy doodles. You can submit as many pixel art pieces as you want at a time, but please note that only five pieces will be approved per day per pixel artist to prevent spamming. So if you submit 20 works it will take 4 days for all the pieces to all be activated. In addition to the standard terms of use there are a few guidelines you should read over before submitting pixel art:

  1. Only submit your own work.
  2. No work in progress. We're not too strict on this one... just don't throw up junk you spent a couple of minutes on or a half finished piece.
  3. No pornography.
  4. Please make sure backgrounds are transparent or serve a purpose -- don't just post a white background unless it fits. If you need help making a background transparent please refer to the FAQ. Be careful with PNG transparency!
  5. Give Credit where credit is due. If you use someone else's lineart or are inspired by someone elses work, remember to link back to them.
  6. Any art you post should be PIXEL ART! Pixel art implies that each pixel is placed by hand (no filters, paintbrushes, gradient fills, etc).
  7. If you use a detail image the small image should match.
  8. Redundancies can really clog the gallery. Rather than submitting multiple pieces with color changes or minor detail changes submit one piece that showcases the differences.
  9. Pixel art for projects should fit the exact specifications of the project. This could mean that a piece must have specific dimensions, colors, transparency (careful with PNG files), alignment, etc.

Note: You will always be able to edit/delete your piece after you've submitted it."

Btw, for your description, how is that a megaman type of art? The pixelated art doesn't even look like a soldier.
