 Ever seen a hippogriff?  Not the ones from D&D, from Magic.  This looks like that.

 I'd replace the current generation fire starter with this one if I could.  All the 5th gen starters look terrible...

 Mm, yeah, the grass color is just in the warms where the rest of the piece is cool.  You might want to make the green cooler.  I think the composition is really interesting - like how the moon is drippy just like the clouds.  I also like the detail you put into the grass.

 This is a great piece but that block of red on the bottom takes a lot away from it.  It just doesn't have much relation to anything else.

 The AA is fine, but I think some parts could be cleaned up, like those extra pix on the ends of his elbows.  Also, dithering is your worst enemy on small pieces.  Aside from that, good work!

 I don't have a problem with any of the positions or proportions you employed.  In fact, this is very good.  The only thing it lacks is fluid animation, which you can probably fix with 2 or 3 more frames.
