This is quite possibly the most amazing pixel art, or art of ANY medium, that I have ever seen. I could comment on how great certain aspects are, but it is difficult to admire absolutely everything in words.

I suppose that is true in some aspects, but it does help me practice my dithering... which is still basic, but I still find practice from it. And I enjoy having something to show, whether it be heavily-referenced or freehand. 

 My faves are the first three. The hats definitely did make these characters more interesting, I like the shading and detail in all of them!

The background is especially amazing.

I took the transparency into consideration, and I recounted again.

This time, I count 23 colors.

I appreciate your edit, but I am trying to keep the dithered look, whether it be slight or not :)

EDIT: I missed a color in the red and pink one. Simply overlooked the darkest red, then didn't see the difference in two very similar grays.

I'll edit the green one, like you suggested. Thank you again for the heads-up.

 EDIT 2: Fixed the green sprite to have one less color, which should bring the colors down to 24.

Simply amazing. I am at a loss for words.

 I have tried making custom poses for Pokemon sprites before, and always failed. These are great depictions of them, and inspiring me to try again. Again, great job.

 This looks like a legitimate game, I am still amazed at how great this looks. Awesome job with animation, interface, and overall RPG feel.

I like all of the movement in this, very very good.
