The picture looks a bit grey and dull to me. Maybe try to make the figure pop a bit more (more color).

Nice piece, and cute teddy. However, I find it slightly annoying that the teddy's eyebrows are so dark. It makes it look like it has two sets of eyes to me...

Nice work. But there's too much black in the piece, remember black tends to be a very dominant color. Consider using a lighter color for shadows/outlines. Also you have too many colors, you could remove at least five colors without affecting the quality of the work.

This feels more like a work in progress than a finished work.

I like your work, but the background is a gradient, which is a big no-no in pixel art. I think it would be better if the background was transparent.

Also you don't need to blow it up this big. Actually, you don't have to blow it up at all because this site lets you zoom in on pieces if necessary anyway.

I would try to put a bit anti-alias on the edges. Otherwise, good work for being your first pixel art ever.

Geolm, you have a good point. I was a bit unsure myself of whether the green might be a bit sharp. I'll have a look at that later.

The sharp edges of the character doesn't blend too well in with the background. Also the caracter looks flat, maybe a bit of shading may be in place.

Also there is a tendency to pillow shading on the hearts in the upper left corner.

Looks more like a cat than a dog to me...

And now I see that it is supposed to be a cat. Duh.

The skin looks a bit too shiny. Possibly too many shades.
