Pixel Joint Awards

Howdy peoples, sedgemonkey here.

To help recognize the extraordinary work that comes rolling into Pixel Joint on a daily basis we will soon be putting an awards system into place. You'll get a spiffy trophy/medal/ribbon graphic for your profile, bonus points and the admiration of your fellow pixel homies.

With any luck the awards system will be up very soon. Stay tuned.

I like it if no one gets too cocky. Pride in your work is great, but taking it to the point of elitism is too much. Although, I doubt anyone here would succumb to something like that and if they did, they'd probably be put back in line by other members. Or just banned.

you should always be able to report a member for being an asshole, and if it's confirmed you can take their pretty things away.

Cool idea. The only thing I'm afraid of is when people acquire a lot of medals/trophies/ribbons/awards and begin to become arrogant. We certainly don't want any "I'm better than you because I have more awards" comments floating around here.
