It's April (or at least close enough to it), so apparently that means it's time to fool people.
This week, create an animation featuring two distinct frames where the second frame is intended to surprise the viewer. For best results, the first frame should last for roughly two or three seconds.
Also, please keep it clean.
Canvas Size - Max 150 x 150.
Colours - Max 20.
Transparency - Optional.
Animation - Required. Exactly two frames.
I agree. On the one hand, this is a challenge, but on the other hand, a 2-frame animation would probably look nicer as a 2-panel comic.
Oh, ok then! It was my thought at first, but such rule is so obvious to me that I considered other possibilities.... But you're right, some people might go nuts here, literally :v
@Arpo: Think of it like a comical scene, where the first frame shows something normal, like Bugs Bunny holding a revolver for 2-3 seconds, and then the second frame reveals something funny, like a flag that says "BANG", coming out the barrel of the revolver. Not really a normal animation, but more like a comic with a nice surprise.
I don't get the 2 frame requiredment. A two frame animation ( two movements only)?
Probably a good idea to include "keep it clean". Some of us have been scarred mentally by the internet and their impulses are sometimes not entirely healthy. I won't name names.
Sounds fun, I was gonna ask what EdJr already asked hahaha!
Oh, this sounds like a fun challenge! Hopefully I'll be able to participate.
Basically, just a reminder that normal rules apply - nothing excessively pornographic. My thought is that it's probably tempting to go a bit extreme with the surprise frame.
Sorry, but I'm not sure if I understand what "please keep it clean" is supposed to mean....
C'mon people, it's a challenge. That what it does, it challenges. Besides, this is not even the first time. And this time it doesn't need to be an actual animation, as CELS has exemplified.
(Posted before seeing DatMuffinMan's comment; now I sound redundant =p)
