I'm waiting for mine to go take a walk so I can secretly pixel a homage to its illustrious presence.
Yours really stood out (at least in my opinion)! But, I mean, why even include humans/humanoids in the first place? I know it's a traditional custom and all, but wouldn't it be a lot more interesting if mother nature were, say, a gorgeous anglerfish? Or a living constellation, or whatever? (Notice that I'm not the right person to give examples of creative stuff, however.)
I had a more different one in the works, but laziness prevailed!
I made a similar comment in the challenge thread. Mine's the green mutant alien lady, if you want to see one that took a different direction. There's also a bizarre one with graphic frontal nudity, if you're into that.
Some really nice pieces indeed, but I'm honestly disappointed with how stereotyped most of them are.
You're right. I ended up opting for a busty humanoid hoping people would be able to relate to it. It seems like people really wanted to see beauty and warmth this week. I admit, I should have gone all out and made a completely repulsive thing that also looks like it spawns things.
