Pixeljoint has a new comp open to all PJers with an interest in opening a store for your game-art pixels. Sprites, assets, tiles, fonts, GUI, BGs, music, FX, etc.
Make extra $$$ from your pixelart.

Comp Rules
Use the template below as a guide for format.
You don't have to use it and it can be on a trans BG.
What's important is that your entry include 3 pixels per entry and your PJ handle as one single image.
Each item has a 64x64 max size.
For items such as fonts, BGs and tile sets you can just enter a partial preview no bigger than 64x64 px.
A sprite - player, NPC, boss (human or non-human) - Animation optional
An asset - any in game item like a plant, crate, furniture. Anything at all that is not a sprite. - Animation optional
An item. - GUI element, inventory item, font, tile, collection item. - Animation optional
Your entry does not need to be new or created just for this comp.
Your entry does need to be as polished and professional as possible.
Your entry must be pixelart.
Your entry may use anything already in your PJ gallery but don't submit these entries as art to the gallery.

Scirra Store
The Scirra Store is fast turning out to be the leading marketplace online for 2D game assets and tools. We've sold nearly 20,000 third party assets and tools to date. If you're looking to make some money from your pixelart by selling licenses to it in our store to game developers, this is a great opportunity to do so. See an example of a popular pixel kit HERE. Please be aware that to keep things simple for potential buyers, we license all assets under a simple "Royalty Free License" which permits the buyer to use the assets in unlimited non-commercial projects and a single commercial project. This means if they make 2 commercial games with the assets, they need to buy your assets twice. You're welcome to sell single pixel artwork in the store, packs of pixel art or pixel game kits! Anything a game developer might want to buy, you're welcome to try and sell in our store.
IMO these stores only make games look more generic and artists less valuable.
This is not a collab comp.
Store accounts let you make extra $ from the pixelart you are already making.
I did wonder if the OPPers want to enter so that the OPP project has a store for all the things already made.
You guys are not selling them but maybe its possible to list in a store for the most minimal amount following the Scirra Store policy as a marketing tool not really for profit?
I am happy to see this collaboration with the marketplaces :)
