Hi, I'm skeddles! You might know me as a pixeljoint elder, or from my website, Lospec.
Well after years in the making, and a successful kickstarter, the Lospec Gallery is now open for public use!
In addition to pixel art, we also accept similar low-spec art forms like Low-poly, Voxel Art and Textmode. Our modern web viewer lets you zoom in on pixel art and create thumbnails automatically.
Another great unique feature is "Monthly Masterpieces", which lets you give a boost to the pieces you feel are most important!
It's still being updated constantly, so come check it out! And if you want to support continued development, consider joining our patreon.
Check out the Lospec Gallery now!
I've just added Discord and Github as additional login services. I am open to ideas for other services, but I don't plan on adding email any time soon since it's harder to set up and I don't have the security expertise needed to keep personal information like that safe, plus other services have additional security like 2FA. If you don't use those services you could still just create an account for sign up purposes.
No way to sign-up without using Twitter, Reddit, or Google, huh D: The gallery looks nice and I want to check it out properly, but I'm trying to move away from services such as those.
Awesome! Looking forward to browsing (particularly the 3D stuff). I'll add my stuff there soon.
Maybe it's just me but it's really difficult to view on mobile. Either way, glad to have another good site for PA.
@skeddles: GitHub works for me :D Though I'd still love to see some decentralised options.
Have you considered OpenID? It's the oldest decentralised one. Unlike the other OAuth options, it requires just one code path to support any provider. The downside is there aren't very many people using it these days, in part because it's not very widely supported.
And if you're interested in something experimental, IndieAuth looks pretty interesting, and also provides a service for email-based authentication and lets people set up auth through either existing OAuth providers or through their own server.
