Chain of Challenges, episode 10.
No more hairs, but we are keeping the game item idea and adding the UI.
Design an UI for a pixel art game inventory. It has to be divided into two parts. They do not have to be even halves. You are free to come up with a creative way to pack it all on one screen, but going for one on the left and the other on the right will be great too.
1) Inventory as a backpack, suitcase, cart, cargo crate, car trunk, magical luggage, etc. with slots for items that the character of your game will carry with them. You can add different item category tabs or divide the whole thing into areas intended to store specific items like potions, armour, quest items, rings, guns, swords, etc.
2) Equipment sheet with the character silhuette and item slots in the correct places. You decide how many item slots the character will have, but it should have at least five slots. It should be things like headwear, armour, the right hand, the left hand, shoes, amulet, belt. You can have only one slot for armour, or you can divide it into parts like chestpiece, greaves, pauldrons, gauntlets, and so on.
No items this time, just spaces for them, but you are allowed to draw a silhouette of a category, like a helmet shape for the head.
You are allowed to choose from three different resolutions: 640x360, 320x180 and 160x90.
The challenge thread will have all the challenge updates. The thread is also a great place to post your WIPs.
