What to draw:

• Crusaders storming desert citadels beneath burning suns, knights in shining armor defending enchanted castles, and princesses watching from moonlit towers;
• Dragons curled atop mountain hoards, kings of the Round Table swearing oaths by sacred swords, and battlefields lit by banners and fire;
• Gothic cathedrals reaching skyward, medieval fairs with jesters and minstrels, and monks penning magic-laced manuscripts by candlelight.

What NOT to draw:

• Anything from the Renaissance — no printing presses, explorers, or artists with flying machines.
