this is another great piece from you, cute but with a creepy mood at the same time - I'm quite a sucker for that type of stuff
so keep up your great work!
haha good eye ptoing, I wouldn't have caught that. The color on the little spites are great.
Her one eye drooping down a bit when she is in the middle, is that on purpose?
Very nice overall though. Well done.
Whew! I am glad that your universe went back into alignment
So I login and did not notice my computer was running very slow and I'm looking at this and got so very confused seeing it was an atpalicis pixel but it just seemed odd and very unlike what I expect from you and as I sat in confusion wondering if a WIP file was uploaded the animation finally started and then the universe feel back into alignment :)
They are soo cute!, nice work, the animation and the colors are great!
I love it! It would have been even better with thin blue shadow of the trees on the girl but still it's gorgous!
Well, I wasn't skilled when I registered on PJ. No one is born with an ability to draw academically correct plaster busts. You can't gain drawing skills without actually drawing a lot. If you keep working for years you naturally improve. And I still make mistakes in my works lol
I think the shadows would be caused by walking under particularly dense parts of the tree canopy (as the lightsource is mostly overhead from the sun/moon), rather than a lightsource from the viewer that is obscured by a tree trunk between the viewer and the girl. So the shadows would be wider, or at least not in straight lines as if a tree trunk caused them.
A noob like me would never have any chance against extremely skilled guys like this one in the challenge.
I really like your suggestion! Will update the piece. Thank you : )
I think if she walked into shadow in the middle for a moment it would mprove the effect, but it is very good.
Wonderful job, I really like how sutil the creatures are and the contrast between the bg and the girl.
I'm just dropping by to commend your sense of theme, the birch trunks look really creepy with the juxtaposition of the single skull-and-bone detail. I never looked at birches like this before.
