Attempting to mimmick ptoing's series of portraits, whilst following C64 Multicolor restrictions (C64 palette, wide pixels, 4 colours per 4x8 (8x8) region), excluding the grey border.

EDIT: Well, these wouldn't entirely work as intended on a C64, but you could probably pull them off with sprites or something.

This was meant for the April Fools Gallery 2016 weekly challenge, but I was a mere hour late to the challenge.

Just found these now. I like then, and am also flattered. Some nice designs in there and they mostly read well.

You should try giving C64 Mcol mode a go at some point :)

In C64 MultiColor Bitmap mode there are only 3 individual colors per 4x8 region and 1 global background color shared by all of them. This could still work with different hacks though, like sprite overlays and/or raster splits.
