There's something so alluring here, the palette, mood and storytelling really make it work!
Utterly stunning, one of the best pixelart pieces I've ever seen!
I can only reiterate what all the others have said before. This looks fantastic! The colors, details, texture - everything! I'm surprised I've never seen your works before even though your avatar seems familiar. Hmmm.....
Also, #1 in March and then in May another one... maaaan, you don't make it easy for other people to rank that high :D
@Carnivac - Thank you! Sorry that I haven`t played this excellent game :(
Lost half of my life..
Very nice. Reminds me of outdoor areas in The Last of Us but in expert 2D pixels rather than expert 3D modelling.
@orangemagic, @Cynips - Many, many thanks!!
@Hapiel - actually, it`s a mutation of earth plants, but let it be a mystery )
@kendallflower - you're gonna melt my ice ))
Gorgeous! Great colors and composition, and a lot of attention to pixel detail!
Why are some of the plants out of this world, but the human artifacts seem to be from the present? Should we expect an plant-like alien invasion coming for us in the next decade?
This is perfect. Instant fave & I hope it will be 1st in march.
@Mandrill, @Zizka, @digger, @Shenjohn, @Erico, @Gecimen, @solrac, @pixelcharpi - MANY thanks for all of you!
Holy crap, andy! This is so good I can't even begin to find words in order to describe its beauty.
Everything is in place. The composition is nearly perfect. The focal point (car and the tree) is simple but well rendered, background blends well, there are side elements of various depths that bind everything together. Good job!
The detail never ceases to amaze me. I’m especially impressed with the grass :) great work!
Concept, colours, execution, composition, everything ... Wow. Providing meaningful C&C on this is way beyond my ability, but it sure is inspiring! Maybe I should take on larger, more ambitious images so that I can one day produce something approaching this level of quality. Straight to my favourites! Thank you for sharing this with us.
This is gorgeous. From the palette, to technique and composition (especially how you manage light spots, this is great.
