Thanks! Yeah Defintely gotta hand it to old point and clicks, adventure games etc. for working well with the EGA palette! And thanks, it was fun to play around with some pop art/graphic kind of elements! :0
Really nice. It has a very oldschool adventure game vibe in a sense. Love the animated fish background and the way you used the dropshadow. Simple but clever and effective.
I would hope that something this small is unlikely to trigger someone, but I'm no expert!
I'll say it again, very mesmerizing and fun to look at. XD
Thank you! Yeah I was unsure about the animation at first but its grown on me lol
Really love this portrait! Wonderful colour choices. The animation with the cycling colours is wondeful as well.
Thanks! Yeah its a tricky yet fun palette to work with!
Thank you so much! Yeah you defintely gotta be selected with what colors you use with EGA! And yeah the photo I referenced was pretty goofy, I very rarely take regular photos lmao :'D
It really is! Part of me is wondering if I should put "seizure warning" on the preview, do you think its needed?
Love how you used the palette. Smart choice for background animation too ^^
So happy to see this finished, and with a funky animation no less! It really is amazing that you made a realistic-looking portrait with such an eye-searing palette. There's also tonnes of character in there.
Thanks! Hah yeah, skintones especially can be so tough with the EGA palette, figured i'd just lean into the red/warm colors of the palette since they would translate the best, I think?
interesting palette choice to highlight the skin, looks really good and effectful, considering just how hard it is to make anything normal looking with this palette.
Thanks! Yeah I was unsure of the animation at first but now i'm a bit more happy about it!
Love this Sarah! I think animating the fish was the right choice!
Thanks!
