I must be soooo uncool!!! I still can't read it! I can assume it's your name based on a couple letters I do make out, but somehow that stuff has always been hard to read for me :/ Looks good though!
Incredible! A bit higher than tomic's work on the colour count, but amazing logo nonetheless. Should be in a scene release ;)
by far the best , you got my vote good luck in the competition
good colors, great design, I see no flaws. well done! absolutely!
Nope, can't read this either...;) but really nice 3D-effect and colorshading!
awesome, 1st place for sure, tomic's also pretty good tho.
Very very nice!
btw, I love trying to decypher grafitti and ascii logos.
the colourchoices make this so delicous. great work
amazing color, style, etc.... but since it;s a logo... it should easy to read :(..... (something than i always critique from the graffers :() (a test to check if ppl can read it or not... send the votation link to somebody like your mom/dad/gf/bf etc, if they can recognize what it said, then is a logotype :D)
maybe im uncool now?? :'(
One word: YES!
Only crits I have is the gradient in the background and in the outmost parts of the slices to the left and right. You could get the colors to blen in more smoothly. Now i see pretty clear steps in the change of color. That could be fixed with some smart dithering.
Otherwise I really like the logo design and the colors. Very much my cup of tea.
this is the kind of thing I was expecting to see from this challenge, I really like how it turned out. I kind of feel like you could've did more than just 50% dithering to smooth the colors out in some sections, like on the V or in the background, but it doesn't really take anything away. Great piece.
im with tomic,he did something like this (unreaded) and he can read it,but if he can read yours so you my friend, have maded a new kind of unreaded graffity, lol
i can't read it ;D
kiddin'. awesome, especially diggin' the metallic slices and the left and right. would perfectly fit on some of these old regional railwagons =) only some minor shading nitpicks (the bottom part of the "e" and "b" need to be darker imo, but meh!)
glad that the comments seem to concentrate on the pixeling again. felt a bit like on lingujoint.com recently ;D
faved!
"well at least all uncool kids can read it now"
*swoons*
Thank youuuuuuuuuuu! XD
I think it's very awesome. I love how you've made the letters pop out by shattering the area around it. Very awesome effect. *bows to thee*
oh man, this is great. zooming in and standing back, it almost doesn't even look like pixel art at all. even if you dont win, this is a great reference for great pixeling.
It is a perfect combination of readability and wildness of course, and I do love the background!
I am not a big fan of this style of font but I must say, you captured it perfectly and even improved on it with clarity. Well done!
