I really like the clarity of this when the colour pallete is so aqua. And it's a really fun monster. Great work.
Shading is great. Squares on hands and shapes on background are putted in interesting way.
this is awesome. I don't know how I missed this when it was first released, but I'm glad I've seen it now. very nice.
Fuck man, this is awesome.
Very... Delicious looking.
Absolutely fantastic pixelling! Now this is pixel art. Colors are calm, the monster could be a bit darker, so it would "come out" better. But it isnt bad now either. Nice! 5/5.
Thank you all for the compliments and favs, I really appreciate it. =)
the shades are awesome! :OOOOOO
the monster of the sea of sand?? :PPPPP
The light magenta and dark blue bite each other on my screen something fierce.
Other than that, very nice.
Could also work, but I do like that there's a splash of purple in there keeping it from becoming too monochromatic. I'd just experiment and see what works best. Doesn't kill the piece by any means, just a teenytiny bit distracting.
Ah, I'll try and fix that soon I suppose. Maybe just adjust the tint of the purple or make it more blue-ish?
I agree with surt, but can't quite decide why. The purple almost punches through the image, maybe if the neighboring blue were more purple/saturated then the transition would make that purple seem less abrupt? Maybe the purple itself could be adjusted- not really sure tbh.
'Course, maybe it's fine as-is, but the fact that I'm unsure probably means it's drawing the eye in an unesecessary way.
Blinky? Is that you all growed up?
Can't make up my mind whether nor not I like that magenta.
The WIP looks awesome. I love this piece. Sticks out like a sore thumb! XD
maybe if you introduced greener highlights into the creature it'd help balance the purple and separate him from the bg as well? just an idea, 10/10 +fav either way.
Thanks! Updated a bit - I added a more stuff to the left side because it was (And still is) kinda empty
Loving the style you crate, but im not sure if the background is dynamic enough. either way, great job.
Crazy how you made that bright purple colour work. At first glance I thought it was too light, but it just fits.
