your animations are awesome, learning learning from you
thanks for comment Ptoing, I´m agree with you, this piece needs more work and revision to be perfect. after summer I´ll fix it with your suggestions, thanks.
Congrats on your daily deviation on DA. Looks like this piece wins two awards.
muchly deserved
Oh, what an animation!
Can you please show the w.i.p. stages? I cannot understand how you did it and want to learn.
Very metal! Lots to love -- animation that captures the attention to detail of a still pixel piece. The polish of the piece is fantastic, the subpixel breathing and the curling of spewn flame are especially notable. That being said, the bottom section, which showcases animation skill, doesn't match the visual style of the rest of the piece. It looks cartoony, lacking detail. It seems to interact less with the statue than the spewn lava does (like the lighting around the mouth). There's a potential here for some cool details -- having sparks flying from the surface of the lava could really help the animation crackle. Of course, with the amount of time you probably spent on this piece, you must be sick of working on it. :)
nop! I have some work in progress, if youre interested I can send you something ;)
ou yeah! hehe thank you very much for your coverage man! (and for remember my birthdays) do you want something? ;)
I'm in love with this piece. The flow of the fire is just amazing along with the heat distortion on the monster itself. I can only imagine the amount of time that went into this getting the flame and heat distortion cycles just right. Bravo man, bravo.
thank you very much for your comment, stoven, you are one of my pixel idols xD
Just gorgeous!
Did you use some sort of fluid simulation from a 3d app for the model? This is so fluid I don't see how it can be done without a solid reference...
muchisimas gracias nevercreature! es acogedor oirlo no en ingles jeje, te lo agradezco ;D
thank you very much Ed´jr, I´m glad by your words ;D
excellent fluidity in the fire, which in space is more liquidy as your animation implies.
I really like this a lot. Cool animation. For some reason it reminds me of Lemmings.
Some bits are looking odd, mainly the stuff around the mouth (?) that does not move at all. Also I would assume that the lighting on the lower body would move a bit as well. In this picture pretty much every non black pixel should move I think.
Smooooth [2]
I just can't believe these animations are feasible.
omg...the velocity is perfect and a pixel art,is pretty =B
I like your entry Dredlockz, it´s animated and is a original idea ;) (I want to see hundred of them swimming the sun ;D)
Muchas gracias Benjiro, la verdad que hacia un monton de tiempo que no volvia a participar, es pero tener suerte jejeje, muchas gracias,
Mañana colgare todos los frames, son doce y forman un ciclo. a ver si te sirve de algo ^^
Junnin FC, GewGuy, Rodrigocard: regurgitating sun, ;P
"low color pixel art animations are amazing eye candy" I don´t know why, but is true xD
thank you! I love your animations :)
