For The Never Creature challenge. :)
Here's an animated wip i.imgur.com/zp7SE.gif
[Edit] Fix the back of the head (thanks ptoing).
[Edit] Replced the palette with the old one, which I like the best.
If I had to choose my favorite thing about this pic, I wouldn't be able to do it...!
Ugly, but superb.
Incredible, I like this kind of art a lot, it reminds me of old good RPGs like Lands Of Lore 1, Eye of the Beholder... nice demon you made!
tons of character, superb piece.:)
Wow, really realistic textures and scary character, impressive work !
God! it's really scary
Nice color-combinations and details.
Very nicely done. The only crit I have is the flabby looking back of the head, which looks kinda weird.
Brilliant work c:
Wow, great work!
The texturing is insane!
jebus :O amazing. the texure/color and design.
Great rendering, attention to detail, and use of color.
Dude...that's just not fair...This is absolutely...breathtaking.
Thanks Gecimen! :) I wanted to do this piece with a colourful palette like in this piece, but with less saturated colours. And instead of using the same crazy style I used the texture of the skin etc to mix the colours. I lowered the saturation further towards the end which gave the palette a C64 look (not intentional).
The texturing, skin folds, and colors are really awesome.
This is so different from your earlier pieces. Probably the palette makes the difference. Is it some sort of limited palette such as c64? PS: insta win and monthly top10.
If i say no you kill me right? :D
epic, first for sure
Yes, it's a very fashionable earring!
Congrats on the first place man.
The textures are some of the best i've seen!
I created this pixel by pixel, you can see it's progress in the challenge topic in the forum here www.pixeljoint.com/forum/forum_posts.asp
hands down this won the weekly challenge :D
May I just add, I looked at the work closely (Well I tried transforming it grayscale using paints eraser tool if you what I mean), when I figured that the shades are very complicated and very complex
I just wanted to know how you made this sir? did you pixel by pixel or used a program?
I may be also just too newby for this and may sound like i dont know what im talking about..
