I'll be honest, I thought it was an overworld map for a second. It reminded me a lot of the map of the Dark World in Link to the Past.

I'm really liking your pixels in their unique vision and execution. However, your color options or palette development seem to me could be improved to further enhance your pixels.
Changed the leg and uploaded the update, see if that looks any better.
My only nitpick is the perspective in the legs, it looks flat there. Make one leg darker and in less detail like you did the arm to make it look in the background. I've always had a soft spot for this style of pixel art :3
