Why doesn't the red one go faster?
(answer: no racing stripes)
Updated according to the feedback. Thanks guys!
This is great!
Dude, the colors, the colors man<3
Nice work! Could you teach me how to combing different animation together in one? (just like yours, I can make moving red car, moving blue car, and a moving background in Photoshop, but I don't know how to combine them together as a gif)
you deserved this. nice job.
do you even know what report to admin is for, not complaining its for violating the rules. the reason i think your stuff is stupid is you have the pixel skills to be rewarded for this simple tile stuff but you dont try nothing else. you wanna act like a real gift to the world taking the attention of all challenges and winning them. its bad sportsmanship imo.
Reminds me of wario land four intro with the car.

This piece is BOSS!!! Like ALL of your works!!! You, are one of my favorite pixel artist of late hands down around here.
I... LOVE... you!!!
Ignore the Trolls Mr. T.!!! A simple look at their gallery usually will sum it up at a glance.
Now go back to being #1 (weelky challenge champion) around here!!!
While I appreciate the time you took to comment on my work, I fail to see how this is in any way constructive criticism.
I don't care at all whether you like me or not; on the other hand, calling my work "stupid" is an outright insult, and I'd advise against using similar comments in the future.
If you have any further problems with me or my work, feel free to report it to the administrators via the proper form on the right side of this page.
I love the choice of colors.
Great work man! looks awesome! :)
your stuff is mostly basic tile-work that anyone with good pixelation skill can match. yet you are like the most praised active pj user and win every contest with stupid submissions like this. i dont like you.
Great work, as always!
This is so amazing, it's like it's 3D - the shadows are done so well!
I just can't have enough of looking at this. Your style is unique. :)
quite nice anim and design
simple but fun
drivin' me nuts, fast and furious.
Mrmo have my children please <3
The colors are pretty much perfect. That metal girder gives a nice touch of depth to the animation. Cheers!
oh my gosh that looks so nice ^^
Man, this is quite good, congrats!
you just want all the trophies, don't you? i dare you to participate in this challenge 3 times to see if you could place 3 times))
I like this, but I feel there's no dynamic here, blue is in the lead, red follows. if there was some intrigue, passing, cutting off, maybe dirty tricks, it would make this piece superfantastic.
That looks super nice, good work! Amazing how the metal bar in the foreground gives so much depth to the whole animation.
That's why there was that error with the metal bar thing, I misplaced it and had to clean it up later :)
After the basic animation is done, I can add more details on top of that (like the exhaust smoke, for example).
what's your process when making a simple parallax effect like this? I feel like if I would try something similar it would take me forever and still wouldn't look as clean.
I'd only recommend to make the cones of light move down 1px when the car is in lower position. The car isn't static so it's lights aren't static as well)
turquoise car has a spolier. duh.
(at least I hope I fixed it properly :D )
One small thing: When the metal bar that crosses the road is about to exit the viewport the smaller horizontal bars pop up one step upwards.
This looks sooo cool dude!
Nice! Missed opportunity for exhaust puffs though :D
The parallaxing metal structure passing by, damn!
Haha, red onez go fasta!
Absolutely gorgeous piece, especially the colours you've picked for the shadows! The animation looks very fluid, and the texture of the road is superb. I also like the little smoke puffs that are coming out of the exhausts, a pretty cool detail.
My only small complaint is that I think that the cones of light shouldn't be static.
This is really nice stuff, but the headlights really flatten the animation and ruin the illusion. They should be more of a conical shape emanating from the level of the car, rather than a flat overlay on the ground.
