It looks like the hammer has been done differently (with the black outlines. There's no black outlines in the character). Besides that, it's not bad. Who is it? What was the project about? (I'm just curious, you don't have to answer if you don't want to =P)

Umm... Well, not much to say, it's a moon =P. It's pretty nice. Maybe some even darker craters? Just a suggestion =).

Looks nice :).  I just thing that maybe the water has too much of a curve (don't really know how to say it =S). It's still really awesome though ;)

Nice =D. May I ask why his head is a bomb? (And why he has such big feet?) =P

Unless, ofcourse, it's for a zombie game ;)

Is this another one of those 'used once' animations? =P (I don't like animations that snap back to their original position, but with this one, it would be pretty difficult to give it a 'smooth' feel =P). Nice little piece.

What game is it for? And pixelarting is your job? That's pretty cool =P

His face looks a bit too wide, and the hair doesn't have any real texture.. (It looks a bit spooky, don't know if it's supposed too or not =P). It's pretty nice for the rest though =D

Edit: Didn't even see it was animated =S. It doesn't add that much though, just a bit of 'Huh?' when you see something moving the first time =P

I think Mashimi is right about the framespeed... I think it would look better just ever-so-slightly slower =P. And maybe make some more frames at the end, as in him continuing to read his book (putting his head and arm back down, you could probable even reuse some frames...) Funny little thingy for the rest, and well done

Wow. Immediately reminds me of both Mario and MineCraft (don't really know why about the second, though =P). It looks really nice. I just think the sky is a bit too green...

Wow. Wish I could do stuff like that =P. There's just one thing... The bulge below the pinky and above the wrist (on our left side) looks a bit weird, like it sags downward...

But who am I to say stuff like that, who can't even make some proper pixelart? Great work =D

Super awesome preview and the thing itself is funny too =D What more do you want? =P

Edit: Sounds like I don't like the style though. I most certainly do, and the colors, and the faces, and well... Pretty much everything =P

Wow. What's up with the perspective? And the awesome waiter balancing that dish on one finger?! It's awesome! =D (just think the spoon looks a bit weird, but that's just my opinion :P)

This is awesome! I like the version with less colors better. This is pretty epic, actually :P

user
ShadeTornado @ 9/5/2010 13:54 commented on Chibi Air Attack

Looks nice :) Maybe you could add a smoother end, so that it looks like he puts his sword behind him again? And maybe show some air rushing along him (I don't know how you would do that, just saying what I'm thinking :P), as to simulate movement =D. Still a cool piece.

ShadeTornado @ 9/3/2010 13:50 commented on 1st Cliffs

It looks nice, but (as said before), it lacks perspective. The grass looks like it was stuck onto the cliff =P. Nevertheless, the rocks look very good.

@jalonso: Thanks :). I looked at some of the programs you suggested. I feel that GIMP is WAY too advanced for what I want to do with it (PixelArt)... I'll only become confused by all of the possibilities, and I don't think a lens flare fits a pixel art =P. Anyway, Pencil looks like its focus is on something different) (quoting the site: "Pencil is intended to be a simple programme enabling anyone to make 2D animation."). It might be very appropiate for pixel art too, though. I'll have to try it out (no access to mac at the moment). Paintbrush is... Well, paint for mac. I guess it's about as good as MSpaint: has everything you need, lacks handy features like preview or lots of color choosing methods. I'll try it out anyway.

@yaomon17: Where should I add that? And how? I know what AA means, but I don't know how to do it in the things I make.

Gives it a really cool effect that there are no clean lines.

Looks really cool =]. It's nice that it looks a bit goofy. I'm just curious what the little white dot behind its tail is? For the rest... Just a great little piece of art.
