This picture is great. I love the concept, and the technique is excellent.

btw, Robotnik's pawns would definitely win. Sonic > Mario (except now; Mario's definitely done a better job of standing the test of time).

looks great. My only problem is with the animation: the transition occurs way to fast: you definitely need more than just one frame in between the two forms.

I've been following the development of this piece for awhile now, and am really pleased with the final result. I really like the highlight on the knees for some reason.

My only issue is with the shirt: it's sort of hard to read in a few areas, mostly where his arms and shirt meet.

There's just something great about seeing a really great, polished piece of pixel art. Great job, can't wait to see your next piece.

The shape of the face is just great. I really like this.

It's a pretty nice piece. Don't be afraid to add personality to your iso pieces, though. Break up the monotony with detail, whether it be imperfections, decorations, or whatever. If you really get into it, you'll find that iso is much more than just cubes. It just dictates the specific point of view. You can really make whatever forms you want, you just need to give it a try.

I really like this piece. The concept itself is just great, but I really like how you've gone beyond the majority of iso artists and actually took the time to break up the monotony of the area by adding a variety of defects and blood smears. The amount of detail is great.

I think you can still make it better, though. Give us an idea of what's behind that hole in the wall. Make the couch look more comfortable: not an unrealistic (although convenient) block.

very reminiscent of Desert Storm, IMO. I like it.

I loved this piece when it was just a silhouette, and I love it even more now. The flashy lighting really makes it feel creepier.

seeing those wonderfully detailed grass tiles next to the horribly bland dirt tiles makes me want to cry (I'm talking about the grass tile pic, of course)

I think that the fact that you added a lot of AA makes it look almost like he's glowing. I really like the effect :D

it looks pretty good, but I suggest adding some glare to the screen or something, because right now it blends in with the plastic.

this probably defeats the purpose of c64, but I think it would look so much better if it wasn't in wide pixels.

I like how the dithering gives the piece a smooth look. However, the lack of dithering on the shield really makes it contrast with the rest of the piece. I think it would look a lot better if you added a bit more dithering to the shield, or if you really like the way the shield looks, the remove a lot of the dithering on the rest of the piece to provide continuity.

not bad, there should be highlights created by the fire though. I think that would add a lot of depth and interest to the piece.

this is probably my favorite c64 piece. I love how you expertly used these colors to create a dark and gloomy mood

ok, first off: the pose. Honestly, if you stood like that, you'd probably be about to fall over. The left leg looks like it goes down somewhat steeply and then somehow magically changes positions right before the knee cap. I hope you can understand that, basically look at the angle of the leg and then at the angle of the tunic and his waist and see that htye really don't match. He's also just leaning to the side in general and it gives him a VERY akward pose. The angle of his arm just looks wrong as well, in my opinon.

As far as the face goes, I think the eyes are a bit to far up and close to the roots of his hair. Also work on the shading, as far as I can tell, the light source is coming from the right side of the image, but it can be pretty difficult to be certain. You could probably cut down on the color count quite a bit, and you really need to cut down on the contrast, especially on his tunic-unless there's some powerful lighting, in which case more shading would be needed.

Excellent job, you've captured Gabriel perfectly! (even though I'm used to seeing his back side instead of the front). The style really reminds me of Diablo.

nice job. The colors are a lot better this time around. Few things though:

outer AA + transparent bg = bad. Either give the pic a light bg or get rid of the outer AA. Your choice.

I like the cape, but the shading looks pretty haphazzard at parts, like it's more of just drawn in, lacking the precision required by pixel art. I think that if you cleaned it up, it would really help this piece.

I really like the leaves and especially the roots. If you intended for them to look like a hand, you're a genius, and if not, then you're a genius and you don't even know it.

"What Happened to Mary Magdelane or Peter whateveryou call her/him's Mouth" That's actually John as he's described in the bible (I guess he was a very feminine man). Don't know what happened to his mouth though. Dan Brown just missinterpreted it as a lady. He probably never saw that in other works of Da Vinci, he painted the same feminine man.

Anyway, I really love this piece. The bg is fantastic, and I love how the guys on the outer edges (particularly the one on the right) blend into it.
