A little rework of the girl's shoulder and trail would make this image perfect. Truly beautiful.

I loved Fantastic Planet (1973) (Orignial title : La Planète Sauvage) by René Laloux and Roland Topor.

Lovely piece :) Though i'm not fond of the clouds whose bottom lines seem to rest on the background's bands' bottom lines. It's breaks the effet of depth to me.

The day scene is fine, but the morning one, I love it!

Wow, it looks like precalculated 3D, like in the SNES Donkey Kong games, amazing. Great Work. Only the hair of the dragon's head at the bottom looks a bit flat to me.

Wow, this is some proper hell of a hard work you've done. Too many adjectives come to my mind at the same time  This is much more than great. Bravo

The idea is good, but the execution could be better. Your dithering is too much random and your general shapes could be a little more regular. For example, the bottom part of the whale looks okay, even if the colour choice isn't the greatest, but the upper-front part of the head lacks regularity and it takes the sight away from the piece, it kind of catches the eye too much.

Also, I like the animation of the caudal fin, despite the fact that it isn't a whale's tail, but it looks like it only goes one way.

Excellent. You never disappoint. I wish it were a whole story, I would like to know where they're going, why and where they come from, ha ha.

Une fois de plus, bravo. On se dit : "tellement simple, j'aurai pu le faire." Mais le fait est qu'on l'a pas fait, toi oui.

Today I visited the Musée Fabre in Montpellier where they're exhibiting the works of Paul Signac (!!!), I was about to ragequit the museum after 10 minutes... No, really, it was amazing !!! I think every pixel artist should know his works, it's just crazy !!! First link, about the exhibition : museefabre-en.montpellier-agglo.com/Visiter/Les_expositions/Signac_les_couleurs_de_l_eau/sections_signac  Second link, the wiki page : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Signac

It looks unifinished. You should refine it before submitting this piece as I expect it not to be accepted in that state. Moreover, you have 837 different colours in that piece which shows that you used some tools that are not accepted on this website (gradients, soft brushes or badly set bucket tool maybe.)

Hi, does anyone know of a good reference pixel piece for waves + foam ? I can't find a satisfying one.

After I placed only squares and mostly random colours first, I thought that it might be beneficial for the figurative aspect not to chose only halves or quarters of squares as available shapes. I tried to give some sense of lighting too (even if I am still really reeeally bad at it) so sometimes I chosed to draw a line that could represent a limit between light and shadow.

Very nice neat design. I like this piece much more than the others of yours where you use, in my opinion, too much colours for shading too small areas.

The character's really cool ! But I am not fan of the semi outlined pants. The hanging arm is also very weird, I think it comes from the shadow changing so fast on the shirt that it makes it feel like the shape of the arm itself is changing.
