pretty much the reason why i never rate manga pieces very high (or at least detract points for being one), there's always this subtle smell of recreation. also, we've got so much of it in 'art'-forums that i feel that i've already seen every variety on this genre though not really being into it. no surprising pieces for ages. matter of taste maybe (and no offense of course =)
No offence to #10, but #10 was just based off a picture. What happened to creativity. Honestly,It doesn't take as much when you don't have to do all of the work such as thinking of what to make, worrying about the anatomy, how the clothes look and such. IMO, only original pieces should be eligiable for the monthly top.
For some reason, I didn't really like madPXLs's piece. I guess boxes just seem kinda easy to pull off.
