Absolutely stunning use of these colour palettes, great job!
I love them. You used each palette very well, much better than the art of the games in that times.
Nina simone looks so good with that palette and style.
Fantastic work, you've captured the essence of every person pretty damn well.
I find your portrait inspiring. It motivates me to push myself.
Keep 'em coming!
@Manu: all fair points, Brel started to remind me of Alan Partridge part way through. The reference was halfway between what you normally see of him – either sombre or open-mouthed and sweaty
@jal: I love Steve Earle now and forever, been on a classics kick lately though. Less happy with Deitrich the longer I look, she's kind of cross-eyed as well.
@ska: been a few years since I did anything with it as well
These are excellent. Nina Simone is especially striking.
My only nitpick is Dietrich's eyebrows which I always see as perfect half circles.
Very interesting portrait choices too for being young.
Awesome portraits!
Nitpicks:
Doesn't look much like le grand Jacques, yet he came to mind immediately. Go figure.
Marlene's and Steve's symmetric noses look a bit weird bc of the slightly angled faces.
Ah, I remember the Jpalette...shit, that was years ago :o
Also, these are damn good.
Dave Grohl?
