The album art collab that has been running on the Pixel Joint Discord since April has reached it's conclusion, and we are now proud to present the results. The community created a total of 637 entries, and they can all be seen in the interactive gallery created by Umbohr:

And now, some fun milestones and stats:
The first few albums were created by the mod team before the challenge oficcially started, which we all agree is cheating, so the honor of first entry completed goes to Biff and Twenty One Pilots - Clancy
A total of 537 (music) artists were represented by 88 (pixel) artists. The most popular artist of the collab was Radiohead, being represented by four different artists

(But big shout outs to Masayoshi Takanaka, Gorillaz, and Run The Jewels who were all represented by three pixel artists each)

Last week of the chocolateween is the Chocolate RPG Party
Draw 3 different sprites of RPG game characters, classes, races, etc. They have to be made of chocolare or related to the chocolate theme in other way. Nerd is optional. Shun Kazakami is a veteran pixel artist (who worked in 90`s for consoles and Arcade) and Illustrator, with a lot of years of experience in creating art for videogames, Illustrations, and character design, and currently he is working as a mangaka artist.
Q: What was your first encounter with pixel art?
Kazakami-San: I think my first encounter was Taito's Space Invaders. Next was Namco's Galaxian, which went a step further by giving characters multiple colors.
