looks almost like you inverted the colours, but it's not that, they're just that vibrant I guess. Love it though :D cuz those ships look awesome

This piece is very very nice, however I have to agree with Mathias, the "walls" of foliage look very odd, very unrealistic, and while at first glance you can easily see why the river should be orange, that reasoning goes out the windo once you look at the grass... still very nice. Well done :)

if you're going to give the tank an outline, I would give the base, cap, and the tube outlines as well... otherwise the tank's outline seems out of place...

well that too... but what I think makes him seem very pale is the grey shadows, maybe making them lighter would make him still seem white skinned but not so "pale" just my thoughts and ramblings

That sounds like a good idea, my biggest issue with the sprite is that it looks fine facing to the right, but if you flip it, something just looks off about it, could be that with this sprite style in particular you need a seperate shading pattern for each direction, perhaps... I'll post it on the forums soon though

when you say thick you're referring to the upper areas of the helm and a few other spots on the armour right? thats because when I went back to reduce the number of colours used I tried using black as both an outline colour (cuz it looks good with these sprites) and as part of the shading, I can easily remedy that but I think I agree, it does give it a "hand drawn" look and I like it like that :) Thanks

true... to be honest I think it'd be best to delete it...

fixed it, I was actually suprised when I went to edit the colours at how many random dark grey/blacks there were that I don't remember having there o.0 but its all better now and whatd'ya know, it looks the same

Thanks for the advice Manupix, yeah I looked at that before I posted this sprite, and I know exactly where all those similar colours come from, the head of the staff and his red armour, I wanted things to "blend" together more but I wanted his staff to be different from his armour, while still keeping the same "theme" plus the way I set it up, I made a base sprite, and I made all the armour/equipment pieces seperatley so if its ever used in a game it would be easier to utilize. Also I think I know where I could remove atleast 2 or 3 of those similar colours, 1. on his shoulder, and 2. recolour the outline of the staff head(orb thingy)

EDIT: There I changed the preview a little bit, hopefully still a bit misleading but hopefully it'll make people wanna see it more...

Updated the preview, and added the neck in from the base sprite I have for this style character :), should I post more from my collection of these sprites?

@Mr.Special, Ya know you're right it does look "neckless" (get it??? necklace hahahaha I made a funny o.o' lol), I think I have updated the neck on the base sprite, but I dunno Im still not too satisfied with it, might post the base sprite on the WIP area of the forums and see what people think...

the LOL one was the most fun to come up with, though I think if I were gonna do these over, I might change/update it a bit since it seems like I could make it better :D but the question is, should I?
