Great concept and layout of the picture. Like susu says, though, the lines are really rough, mostly due to what appears to be misuse of antialiasing. I kind of like how you've "dithered" the AA away on some edges, like the top of the structure to the left or the head of the girl's walking stick, but certain things like the ropes in the background and the spikes are really rough, and could really use some cleaning up.

Cool pose, and I like the design. What i'd like to see is definitely more contrast between the colors, especially on the edges/outlines, to help bring out the highlights. It just looks a bit too soft as-is, and some sharper shifts in colors would help her take form.

Like everyone else says, the colours are very nice :) The pixels on the animals are wonderful, but picture itself is lacking in composition. They all seem so far apart, and the stage doesn't seem to project any sort of perspective, making them look "pasted on", and making the edge of the stage at the bottom right and the speaker look a bit ugly in comparison to your lovely characters.

Great job, though! That bear with the fiddle is probably the best thing I've seen all week. :D

Okay, this style is amazing. This looks so very cool. Great job!

Ace job. There are some of the outlines, such as the lower part separating his shirt and his jacket and the part where his belly is peeking out that stand out as a bit ugly. Mostly because they're inconsistent with the rest of the picture, where you've used lighting and shading to define edges, and it looks a lot nicer.

That being said, though, the pose and face are amazing. Very good job :D the hand cupping the face is very well done. Great job!

Great character design! The huge zipper on his shorts is the best. I personally like the simple face, and I love the shade of green you chose for the shorts, it works very nicely. One thing I don't like is the dark shade surrounding the eyes, it looks a bit strange, but I can't really explain why.

The game will be playable for free, as all my games are. I hope on getting it sponsored, but only time will tell. I don't really plan on releasing any demos, as I'll be getting in-dev feedback from a list of testers for specific versions. But it shouldn't take that long to complete. My goal for the final release is the end of August, but hopefully I can be done it even before that!

I was thinking about putting in highlights, but didn't in the end. I'll try it out and see if that doesn't improve it. It looks liquid enough by the motion, I don't know if the shine will be necessary with mud, but it's worth a shot :)

Your colors are great! Many of the shapes seem just a bit "off" to me, though. The bottom-right screen is definitely the best, though. :)
