Let us continue taking one part of the previous challenge and connecting it with something new, and see where it takes us. We are taking the Wikipedia-made palette and connecting it with animation.

Draw a sprite of something solid and animate it as it melts into a puddle. It can be a snowman in the sun, a bar of chocolate on a hot day, a zombie shot by a plasma blaster, or a witch cursed by a spell. You have to use the liquid_14 palette, which combines colours with liquid-oriented names found on Wikipedia. To make the 1-bit loophole forbidden (especially after the previous challenge), you have to use at least half of the colours from the palette.

Animation doesn't have to be looped; you don't have to animate it as it's getting back to its previous form (it can be a bonus challenge for the ambitious), but it has to be smooth enough, so a couple of frames won't cut it.

Colours in alphabetical order:

aqua #00FFFF
blood red #660000
burgundy #800020
café au lait #A67B5B
café noir #4B3621

champagne #F7E7CE

cream     #FFFDD0
lava #CF1020

mustard #FFDB58

We are taking the "%" aspect of the previous challenge and using it in combination with a random colour-type challenge.

Draw a scene, a landscape, or a portrait in a cyberpunk aesthetic using only two colours chosen from Wikipedia by their names: "cyber grape" #58427C and "cyber yellow" #FFD300. The colour ratio of the image has to be 50% to 50%, with a 1% margin of error.

In this case, the canvas size is open, so it is much easier. You can crop the entire image or add a frame around it to adjust the colour ratio.

"Cyberpunk" can be interpreted in the widest possible sense. Not as a game title only.

Canvas Size - open.
Colours - exactly 2 (#58427C and  #FFD300, both on 50% of the canvas).
Transparency - no.
Animation - no.

The challenge thread will have all the challenge updates. The thread is also a great place to post your WIPs.

I hope everyone remembers this challenge, recently reminded by olive.

We are going to make a sequel with a twist.

Draw a portrait (it doesn't have to be you, it doesn't have to be human either, but it has to be a head of some sort, so animals, robots, monsters, and anthropomorphic objects do count) on a standard PJ avatar square 64x64px, using only 4 colors of your choosing (you can use a ready-made palette from Lospec or somewhere else), but each one of them has to be used on 10%, 20%, 30%, and 40% of the canvas, respectively.

This is the only change from the previous challenge, but a very important one. So, instead of 25% + 25% + 25% + 25%, we are going with 10% + 20% + 30% + 40%.

We will be using this tool to check if the condition is met, and you can use it too if you do not have any other way. Please make sure of this, especially if you submit on sunday evening, becasue we will most certainly be checking last minute pieces on monday morning, and this will be too late for fixes.

As previously, there will be +/- 1% margin of error allowed for each colour.

And of course you can make as many avatar entries as you wish.

Canvas Size - exactly 64x64px.
Colours - exactly 4 (one on 10%, second on 20%, third on 30%, and fourth on 40% of the canvas).
Transparency - no.
Animation - no.

Whatever storage device you are using, this is the right time to clean it up.

In this challenge you have to either finish any unfinished and yet unsubmitted challenge entry from 2023 or make a new entry for a challenge from 2023 you wanted to participate in, but couldn't.

You can make your choice by going to Weekly Challenges and checking the column on the right. The first challenge of the 2023 was "CMYKaboom!". Please write in the artwork description which challenge you have chosen, and make sure you follow it's rules and limitations. You can make more than one entries for more than one challenge.
